There are guy pros who say this horseshit behind closed doors all the time. It’s vital to remember that nothing you do matters unless people like this approve of it. Your sense of fun, fandom, belonging, appearance and artistry only matter if their tiny worldview allows it. I can’t believe the amount of shit cosplayers take for daring to express themselves in the manner that makes them happy.

I wish to god you could name and shame those fuckers so I’d know whose comics never to buy and who never to waste my time with at cons. Because assholes like this are dead to me.  Although I totally get why you CAN’T, it would still be seriously awesome to expose them for the pathetic shit stains they are.
